Under the EACEA call 18/2019, a total of 147 applications were received from 27 member countries of the MEDIA Sub-Program, and support was approved for 71 projects with a total amount of 12,477,925 euros. Croatia, along with 21 other members of the MEDIA Subprogram, is on the list of countries with as many as two applications for group projects. Croatian applicants were thus provided with support in the total amount of 301,254 euros!
The production company 4Film d.o.o. provided funds for the development of four projects, which is also one of the greatest results of domestic film production.
The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) assessed the project in the following words:
"The presented group projects are diverse, well-structured and attractive to foreign markets because they take advantage of the interest caused by events in the Balkans. The quality of the submitted projects is good, with each project containing promising creative potential. The feature film combines genres dealing with the theme of war and growing up and has a high dramatic potential and a strong narrative. The TV series combines elements of noir and thriller under the auspices of a strong feminist approach, interesting character development and attractive visual design. The creative team is experienced and knows how to attract funding and network with partners. The production budget seems acceptable. "
