Feature fiction film „You Carry Me“, written and directed by Ivona Juka wins the Golden Mimosa award for best directing at 29th Montenegro Film Festival (Herceg Novi).
„You Carry Me“ , which has been produced by production company 4Film and co-produced by Galileo production, was screened on August 3rd at Kanli Tower, where the large festival audience had the chance to watch the movie.
Ivona Juka has confirmed her talent by winning this award. In her acceptance speech, she mentioned „it is time to begin to offer the world some other stories, and not the same stories everyone is used to hear.“
In „You Carry Me“ three daughters battle for acceptance, redemption and new opportunities. Dora builds a relationship with her father, Ives loses her relationship with her father, Nataša confronts her father to accept the future. All three carry their fathers, yet they need them to confront themselves.
The film stars the biggest movie stars in the region, such as Lana Barić, Vojislav Brajović, Nataša Janjić, Nataša Dorčić and Sebastian Cavazza.
